This person can also be responsible for taking everyone’s keys before alcohol is consumed to ensure that no one can drive their vehicle home.

It’s always best to come up with a plan before people start drinking alcohol. Make sure that everyone in your group knows who the designated driver is. Then when the time comes for everyone to leave, you can round up the people who you are responsible for taking home.
